2014 Aboriginal Benefits Foundation Gala Dinner & Fundraising Art Auction

Extra tables had to be brought in for a sold out crowd of Aboriginal Art enthusiasts which filled the Museum of Contemporary Art Foundation Hall for another very successful Aboriginal Benefits Foundation Gala Dinner & Fundraising Art Auction.

Celebrating its 10th year, over $200,000 was achieved, assisted by the generosity of collectors such as Ray Wilson who donated several pieces to the cause, all attracting spirited bidding contests. Canberra based Aboriginal musician Johnny Huckle and Auctioneer Paul Sumner from Mossgreen both provided excellent entertainment in the performance of their duties. The objectives of Aboriginal Benefits Foundation is to promote, provide and carry out activities, facilities and projects for the benefit and welfare of Aboriginal communities throughout Australia and the members of those communities.
