Worm Dreaming

The Worm Dreaming is a love story – the male worm is singing love songs to attract a female. The singing attracts a crow that is able to find the worm by the patterns he has left as he travels under the ground. The meanders, which can only be seen after rain, represent the worm’s path and also represent the resonation of the song. The design was drawn in the sand to represent this Dreaming, it is a site close to the artist’s birthplace at Napperby.
